Sugar Beach launches ‘The Residences’ a collection of 42 luxury properties in St Lucia
Sugar Beach, one of very few developments around the world within a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a 130-acre resort located on the South West coast of St Lucia.
Designed by world-renowned Caribbean architect Lane Pettigrew Associates ‘The Residences’ at Sugar Beach is a collection of 42 exclusive properties with views of the Caribbean Sea and the magnificent Val des Pitons.
Every Residence will have its own private swimming pool with beautiful natural stone deck. Some will be combined with whitewashed greenheart timber deck, dependent on the setting. The living and dining areas will open out onto spacious terraces, and some of the bedrooms will have private balconies.
Purchasers have a choice of between two and six bedroom properties with prices ranging from US$2.4 million to US$9 million.
Those seeking the ultimate in luxury may choose Glenconner Beach; five beachfront Residences, each with its own oversized swimming pool set in a private garden which opens out on to a secluded white sand shore. The owners of these properties will be able to work with architect Lane Pettigrew to create bespoke interior layouts.
Owners of ‘The Residences’ will have access to a range of amenities at the adjacent famous Jalousie Plantation, which is being re-branded as The Tides Sugar Beach in December 2011 and will be managed by the Los Angeles-based Viceroy Hotel Group. The resort will include two white sand beaches, the Rainforest Spa, three gourmet restaurants, four bars including a late night bar, scuba dive center, kids club, games room and a beach club & lounge.
